Small polychrome sculpture of a carved wood Infant Jesus.
Provenance, Argentina. 19th century.
The figure appears standing, with the right leg bent and the left foot forward, suggesting movement, the right arm is raised in a gesture of blessing, while the left arm is projected forward naturally.
