Plata Nativa houses a collection of small format paintings from the 19th and 20th centuries inspired by the style of the Cuzco School of Painting.
These paintings, done in oil on sheet metal or canvas, are the continuity in the field of popular art of one of the most interesting American schools of the colonial period.
The pieces in the collection are mostly from northern Argentina and Bolivia, areas where the influence of Cuzco painting is still strongly felt today.
