The Calcha weavings (the most representative), are large pieces where the color black predominates (or browns of dark shades), but with a strip of very colorful central "pallai", with geometric designs or strips of animal representations. Two identical strips of pallai on the edges are also very colorful, sometimes repeating the central drawings, sometimes simpler.
